Winter has been somewhat warm lately, brisk the in AM’s – warming up in the afternoons.  With the weather conditions, it has made for some good fishing as of late.  There is no need to get out on the river early, sleep in a bit then head out about 10 AM or so.  Baetis, skwalas,  & midges have been working well. River access is great right now, as most of the snow has melted towards Reno. On the other hand, it appears that we might get some snow starting Tuesday/Wednesday of next week.  Yes, it’s Presidents weekend, so avoid the ski resorts as the lift lines will be long and the grocery stores shelves will be bare….  Here are some photos from the last few days.  Enjoy & thanks for reading my blog!
