Hello everyone, I am officially back in the lower 48 after a great season in southeast Alaska.  After paying bills and getting everything back home squared away, I’ve had some time to fish the Truckee.  Temperatures are brisk in the AM, so I’ve been heading out around 10-11 AM.  BWO’s and October Caddis have been the dry fly choice on the local rivers.  I’ve also had success nymphing with small flies.  This is the time of the year to search for big brown trout and rainbows getting ready to pack on the lbs before winter.  Here is Bob, with his first fish on a fly rod.  All smiles!!!  I am available for walk and wade trips in the Truckee Area, now is the time to fish!!
