Truckee felt like June the last week or so.  HOT . The Truckee is flowing healthy right now, but more water is on the way – starting tonight! Looks like rain, then moving into some snow late.  I’ve been fishing the CA side lately and the fishing has been great!  Lots of nice sized fish being landed.  Nymphing and streamers have been successful on the Truckee.  I prefer the overcast days to throw or swing a streamer, but I’ve seen some great days in the sun too! SJ’s, baetis, midges, and sculpin patterns have been working.  Soon the swkala’s will be out and about.  I will be searching for them!
