After finding a passion for the outdoors at a young age, I became obsessed with fishing and the outdoors. My father taught me how to fly fish on the Stanislaus River near Big Trees, CA. I’ve been hooked ever since.By attending Chico State, I was able to fish more, which only fueled my passion to fly fish. The Master program at Clearwater Fly Fishing School taught me how to further my fly fishing skills on all bodies of water. Understanding the basic fundamentals are key if you want to be a successful angler. After graduating Chico State, I moved to Tahoe about eight years ago to pursue fly fishing and skiing. The Lake Tahoe and the Truckee area offers ample opportunity to fly fish, as well as many other recreational activities.

Currently, I am guiding in Alaska, for Baranof Wilderness Lodge from June – End of September.

The rivers I guide on in California are: the  Truckee River, Little Truckee, Yuba, Lower Sac,  &  Feather.
